What is CAPTIVE8?

CAPTIVE8 is about capturing every aspect of your personality traits or ”essence,” from your unique quirks, mannerisms, and patterns of speech and adopting them as an integral part your personal brand narrative. Ideally, it is how others identify with you. The number 8 is significant because we identify eight characteristics.

What was the inspiration for CAPTIVE8?

The CAPTIVE8 framework was inspired by MGM’s Executive Producer Irving Thalberg’s star-making system, a strategic image crafting approach to identify and develop talent for the studio. By capturing every aspect of their “essence” and weaving it into the scripts, the dialogue and even their appearance, on and off screen, so the perception of each star was imprinted in the audiences’ mind.

How long does the Assessment process take?

The questionnaire will take about an hour to complete. Clients usually take a week to submit it. Once you return the completed questionnaire, it will take a minimum of one week for Gwenne to complete the assessment process and record the assessment. The final step is an hour long CAPTIVE8 Brand Appeal session via Zoom to go over how to execute the use of your Brand Tones.

What is the purpose of the questionnaire?

Some of the questions are specifically odd because they reveal recurring “patterns” that make up who you are. The questionnaire will take about an hour to complete. Not a single client has complained about doing it because it is extremely self-reflective. You will get in touch with things about yourself that you’ve forgotten about. You will have some realizations about what is truly important to you and where it comes from. And once can take as little as three weeks.

What do I do with the results?

You are free to take the information to use as you wish or you may want to go to the next level, CAPTIVE8 Brand Blueprint. Your essences will inform your USP, your visual identity, your written identity (copy), and your hero’s journey (story). You'll also create a proprietary framework, identify your first minimum viable product, and create a profile for your primary social media platform, plus develop a content strategy designed around your authentic brand voice.
